On May 14, Sylvia’s CAC was awarded $18,000 from the United Way of Central Indiana for COVID-19 relief. The grant will be used to fund upgrades and updates to systems that allow us to conduct our forensic interviews, victim advocacy, and prevention training with enhanced social distancing measures.
Abuse reports are dropping, but this isn’t the kind of news to celebrate. Abuse rates have almost certainly risen.
